Where Rushing is a GPS speedometer, session logger and driving community app. Its speed features — the speedometer, sessions, records, speed boards and Ghost Rides — are for closed circuits, private land and track days, and are not for use on public roads.

Common questions

01Why does the app need Always location?

So a session keeps recording while your screen is locked, and only while a session is running. Your route is never stored and never leaves your phone — only the derived figures, top speed, distance and duration, are saved.

02Why is my speed not showing?

The app needs real movement, and GPS needs a clear view of the sky and a good signal. Indoors, in a garage or under cover you will not get a usable fix. A record is only kept when the signal was good enough to trust it.

03How do I hide myself from the leaderboard?

Open Settings and turn on "Hide me from the leaderboard". Your nickname, country, profile photo, car and top speed are then not shown to other drivers.

04How do I delete my account and data?

Open Settings and choose Delete account. It removes your email, nickname, photo and cars, and permanently revokes sign-in. Your top speed stays on the leaderboard as an anonymous entry that can no longer be traced back to you, so other drivers keep the ranking they earned. This cannot be undone.

05Does it work with CarPlay?

Yes. CarPlay shows your live speed, your session maximum, the gap to the driver above you and your leaderboard position. There is nothing to operate while driving.
